Ingredients
- Millet Flakes (any): 100 g
- Rice Flour: 2 tbsp
- Oil: 2 tsp
- Onion: 1 (finely chopped)
- Green Chilli: 2 (chopped)
- Carrot: 1 (grated)
- Curry Leaves & Coriander Leaves: As required
- Salt: As required
Water Ratio for Flakes
- Thinai, Samai, Varagu, Kuthiraivalli (Small flakes) → 1 cup flakes : ¾ cup water
- Kambu, Red Cholam & Traditional Rice (Large flakes) → 1 cup flakes : 1¼ cup water
Preparation Method
- Soak 100 g of millet flakes in hot water for 5 minutes and mash well.
- Add rice flour, chopped onion, green chilli, grated carrot, curry leaves, coriander leaves, and salt.
- Mix everything into a thick batter consistency.
- Heat a dosa tawa, spread the batter into medium-sized adai.
- Cover with a lid and cook for 2 minutes on each side until golden brown.
