🍋 Lemon Millet Flakes
Tangy & Refreshing Millet Snack

Ingredients
- Millet Flakes (any): 1 cup (100 g approx)
- Lemon: ½
- Oil: 2 tsp
- Cashew / Groundnut: As required
- Mustard Seeds & Dals: ½ tsp
- Onion: 1 (chopped)
- Green Chilli: 4
- Curry Leaves: As required
- Salt: As required
Water Ratio for Flakes
- Thinai, Samai, Varagu, Kuthiraivalli (Small flakes) → 1 cup flakes : ¾ cup water
- Kambu, Red Cholam & Traditional Rice (Large flakes) → 1 cup flakes : 1¼ cup water
Preparation Method
- Heat oil in a pan and temper mustard seeds and dals.
- Add cashew/groundnut and sauté until golden.
- Add onion, green chilli, and curry leaves. Sauté well.
- Add lemon juice and salt. Mix gently.
- Add millet flakes and sprinkle water as per the ratio.
- Cover and cook on low flame for 3 minutes (small flakes) or 5 minutes (large flakes).
- Mix well and serve hot.
