🍛 Millet Veg Biryani

Ingredients
- Millet (any): 1 cup (100 g approx)
- Oil: 2 tsp
- Whole Spices: Bay leaf, cinnamon, clove, cardamom (1 each)
- Onion: 1 (sliced)
- Green Chilli: 4
- Ginger Garlic Paste: ½ tsp
- Tomato: 1
- Mixed Vegetables: Carrot, potato, peas, beans, capsicum
- Turmeric Powder: 1 tsp
- Coriander Leaves: For garnish
Preparation Method
Millet : Water Ratio – 1 : 2½
- Heat oil in a pan and sauté bay leaf, cinnamon, clove, and cardamom.
- Add sliced onions, green chilli, and ginger garlic paste. Sauté until golden brown.
- Add tomato and cook until soft, then add mixed vegetables and salt. Cook until half done.
- Add soaked millet (soaked for 30 minutes) and sauté for 1 minute.
- Add 2½ cups of water and pressure cook for 3 whistles.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
