🍮 Millet Payasam
Sweet & Traditional Millet Dessert

Ingredients
- Thinai (Foxtail Millet): ½ cup (50 g approx)
- Pasiparuppu (Moong Dal): ¼ cup
- Country Sugar: ¾ cup
- Milk: 2 cups
- Water: 4 cups
- Cardamom: 4
- Cashew & Raisins: Few
Preparation Method
- Lightly roast thinai and moong dal.
- Add 4 cups of water and a pinch of salt. Pressure cook for 4 whistles.
- Add milk and boil for 5 minutes.
- Add country sugar and cardamom. Mix well.
- Boil for another 5 minutes until it thickens.
- Finally, add fried cashews and raisins.
