🍛 Kongu Style Arisi Paruppu
Traditional & Flavorful Millet Meal

Ingredients
- Millet (any): 1 cup (200 g approx)
- Toor Dal: ½ cup
- Oil: 2 tsp
- Mustard, Jeera & Dals: ½ tsp
- Small Onion: 15
- Green Chilli: 4
- Garlic: 4 cloves
- Tomato: 1
- Sambar Powder: 1 tsp
- Turmeric Powder: ½ tsp
Preparation Method
- Soak millet and toor dal for 30 minutes.
- In a pressure cooker, heat oil and add mustard seeds, jeera, and dals.
- Sauté small onions, green chilli, tomato, garlic, and curry leaves.
- Add sambar powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix well.
- Pour 2½ cups of water and pressure cook for 3 whistles on medium flame.
