🍲 Millet Pongal

Ingredients
- Millet (any): 1 cup (200 g approx)
- Moong Dal: ½ cup
- Oil/Ghee: 2 tsp
- Cumin Seeds: 2 tsp
- Pepper: 1 tsp
- Ginger (grated): 2 tsp
- Asafoetida: ½ tsp
- Green Chilli & Curry Leaves: 4 chillies + few leaves
- Cashew: 10
Preparation Method
- Soak millets and moong dal for 30 minutes.
- In a pressure cooker, heat oil or ghee. Sauté cashews, cumin seeds, pepper, ginger, asafoetida, green chilli, and curry leaves.
- Add soaked millet and moong dal to the cooker.
- Add 6 cups of water and salt as required. Pressure cook for 4 whistles.
