Healthy Fermented Millet Batter

Ingredients

  • Millet (any): 1 cup
  • Urad Dal: ¼ cup
  • Fenugreek: ½ tsp
  • Salt: 1 tsp

Preparation Method

  1. Wash millet once. Wash urad dal and fenugreek separately and soak for 1 hour.
  2. Grind millet separately. Grind urad dal and fenugreek separately into a smooth batter.
  3. Mix both batters, add salt, and allow to ferment for 8 hours.
  4. Prepare soft idlis or crispy dosas using the fermented batter.
